More than half of the world's busiest airports are located in Europe

To compile the ranking, ForwardKeys specialists studied the number of flights and passengers served by the world's most popular airports. Dubai, London and Paris airports were in the top three.

The list of ten busiest airports looks like this:

The following airports come in the ranking - London Gatwick Airport, Barcelona-El Prat Airport, Dublin Airport, Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport and Franz Josef Strauss Airport.
