WEATHER IN ANTALYA

The weather in Antalya disposes to excursion programs all year round, regardless of the season. So, for example, in Antalya, winter is quite warm and mild, the temperature fluctuates on average from 8-15C, in spring here from 15-25C, in summer it is 25-35C, and in late autumn from 10-20C. Precipitation in the form of rain falls mainly in late autumn and lasts until the end of February.

TOP-10 ATTRACTIONS OF ANTALYA

  1. Mount Tunektepe  is located in the Konyaalti (Sarisu) region on the road to Kemer. There is a cable car leading to the mountain, from where a stunning view of the whole of Antalya, as well as the endless mountains of Kemer, opens.

  2. Aquarium Just 70 meters from the new Konyaalti waterfront, there is the world's largest tunnel aquarium. Here you will get acquainted with more than 40 aquariums, visit the largest tunnel in the world.

  3. Antalya Archaeological Museum near the center is open daily from 08.30-17.30. Here are collected the most interesting archaeological exhibits discovered in the historical center of Antalya.

  4. 4. Museum-apartment of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.  The Turks are very respectful of Ataturk, the first president of the Turkish Republic, and call him "the father of the people." Here, on two floors of the exposition, you can get acquainted with documents, photographs, gifts, as well as see the atmosphere of a century ago, in particular, several offices and a politician's bedroom. You can visit the museum in the central part of Antalya every day, except Mondays from 09.30-17.30.

  5. The old city of Kaleici  is one of the most striking sights of Antalya, it is here, with our own eyes, that we can touch the history, see the famous Yivli minaret, Hadrian's gate, walk along the old winding streets of old Antalya and go down to the sea.  

  6.  Duden waterfalls.  The lower park is located in the Lara area. This waterfall is a pearl of Antalya's attractions, because it is this place that planes fly by, and each boat trip includes a stop near the Duden waterfall. Every day you can take a walk in the park, go rafting down the river, and also refresh yourself in the numerous cafes and restaurants of the park.

  7. Upper Duden waterfalls (Kepez region). Another Antalya natural attraction worth visiting. This is not just a waterfall, it is a large, beautiful, shady park with a complex of waterfalls, grottoes and small caves.  

  8.  Ruins of the ancient city of Perge . You can get to this excursion object by public transport, the attraction is located in the Aksu region of Antalya. An amphitheater for 12,000 spectators, the remains of a city wall, a stadium, city gates, Agora, baths, all this can be seen here. You can watch it yourself every day from 08−18.00. 

  9. Antalya Zoo opened in 1989, animals live in a natural landscape on the side of a mountain. It is located in the Dosemealti area of Antalya and receives visitors daily from 09-18.00 

  10. Lunapark Antalya . Open daily from 11.00 am until late at night. Located in the Konyaalti area directly opposite the 5M IGROS shopping center .
